Differences between HEISHA DNEST and DSTATION drone docks

September 28, 2022

HEISHA has launched two drone docking solutions, DNEST and DStation, for consumers and enterprises correspondingly.

There are four main differences between them:

  1. Compatible with SDK or non-SDK drones

2. DNEST works with the local LAN and can only be controlled manually

3. DStation works with the online operation system

4. Different expansions

The compatibility of DNEST and DStation

DNEST is smaller and newly upgraded to the third generation, it is compatible with small drones and can work with the newest DJI Mavic3 and Mini3, which don’t have SDK. It is the only drone dock that can make that. DStation is compatible with drones that have SDK, it is working with big drones like DJI M300 that has RTK to support precision landing and can be deployed for industrial applications.

The operation and connection of DNEST

Consumers who use drones for land patrol are concerned about their data privacy deeply, HEISHA team has managed to make DNEST work with the local LAN, users can link the DNEST drone dock to any room via a cable and display the real-time video on a screen. DNEST can only be controlled manually by a consoler, it is simple and easy, control a drone to fly around your property and return to the DNEST to recharge the drone like playing a video game, even the best VR game cannot give you such a real and exciting operation experience like DNEST.

The operation and connection of DStation

DStation works with software like FreeSky and FlytNow. Both of the above operation systems support automatic take-off, waypoint mission planning, video/image capturing, results output, data analysis, one-key return home, and autonomous charge of the drone.

Expansion of DNEST and DStation

DNEST is more flexible and mobile compared with the DStation, it can be deployed on vehicles, and becomes a mobile charging dock for drones. DStation is larger than the DNEST, and not easy to transport, but it plays an important role in building a network for large projects like the smart city. After a drone gathered information and upload it to the cloud center, the related department will receive the information it needs at a speed that human can never reach.

Both the DNEST and the DStation are sparkling in each field, they will keep working and continue to excavate the value of drones, making them work for us in a more efficient way.
