How the Air conditioner of the HEISHA drone dock is evolved

TEC or Compressor AC ?

Same as other drone dock suppliers, HEISHA chose the TEC (Thermoelectric Cooling) type of AC for the drone charging dock, which is a semiconductor-based cooler, it is famous for its compact structure and the ability to control the temperature precisely. 

However, the cooling effect of TEC AC is challenged in summer as the dock’s internal temperature is dramatically boosted when the drone flies back from the mission, both the battery and dock’s temperature couldn’t cool down quickly. 

Then, we replaced it with the Compressor AC, it is bigger than the TEC AC, but its cooling effect is great enough to do the job. 

Majors modes

There are three major modes in this compressor AC, cooling, dry, and automatic. 

In the cooling mode, it offers the quickest way to cool down the whole drone dock before initiating the charging process. For safety reasons, all the HEISHA drone charging hangars won’t start charging before the temperature reaches the presetting range. 

The dry mode is for drone docks being used in spring and autumn, especially in the high-humidity area. Fans will be activated at the same time, it’s the best energy-saving mode under that kind of circumstance.

The automatic mode requires the least human attention on temperature management while keeping the temperature at a steady degree. Meanwhile, energy consumption is also minimized.

You can also remotely turn off the air conditioner at night when the drone won’t take any flight mission in a while.
