DStation F80 autonomous drone for floating solar farm inspection in Taiwan

DStation F80 version works with DJI Mavic 2 as a completely autonomous drone solution offering the inspection service for a floating solar farm in Taiwan.

Floating solar farms are a creative innovation in the electricity industry, it is an ideal solution for gathering electricity in islands like Taiwan. Besides the regular checking work, there are storms, earthquakes, tsunamis, and other unpredictable natural disasters that would bring damage to the solar panels, which requires emergent inspection of all solar panels, that’s when DStation displays its value.

DStation is a drone charging platform that can work with autonomous drone software to enable a drone automatically land and self-charge on the F80 drone dock after completing a flight mission, which can be executed automatically if you set up a waypoint flight mission.

This DStation drone docking system has been applied in Japan for solar panel inspection, too.
